Björn Falkevik’s Summary

"There is no such thing as "One size fits all", just 'cos it's stretch, it doesn't mean it fits!"

Björn works as a New Media and Social Media producer. Using the tools from his experience working with Newspapper, TV, Marketing, Software, internet and PR. Making solutions that are unique the client, achieving the goals and encourages to a discussion more than a monolog. Björn liks to think that he's work give him the opportunity to develop and future what's called "Communication 2.0" and in that way making communication easier and more effective for both sides. The final goal should always be to convert the viewers to something more than just "viewers".

"Ok, now all our stuff is on the internet, but why is no one looking at it"
To produce is fairly easy, but you still have to make you content both available and discoverable for the target group. This has created a new kind of producers, Social Video producer's, where Björn like to thinke himself as one of the pioneers. Already in the planing stage, take in to consideration what and how to produce, to make the video a tool for guiding and encourage the discussion that we want the "user" to follow. It's no longer only essential "that" you publish your material. Now you have to take in to process "how" you publish. In traditional TV and video, everything has to be contained with in the storyline of the movie. When working with "video on the net" there is two factors that are radically different. The space to work with outside the moving picture. Before and after airtime has a totally different length and value on the net. With traditional TV and video the main goal could be to engage the view for 25 minutes. Social video's is to engage the user to interact with the material and the discussion for weeks.
