As the key person involved in developing our Optimism software I wear a large number of hats. These include marketing manager, web designer, beta tester, advertising exec, search engine optimizer, help desk operator, and press release copywriter.

Thankfully I don't know a single line of programming code.

In the very distant past I worked in the retirement savings industry, as an analyst and later consultant to large corporate, industry and public retirement funds. Not as exciting as seeing people take control of their mental health!

My main professional goal is simple - to keep improving Optimism to achieve the very best possible outcomes for its users. That sounds like a line straight from a corporate marketing brochure, but I honestly believe that Optimism can have a place in any mental health professional's treatment toolkit, and make a significant difference in the lives of many, many people.

My main financial goal is to survive the next 15 years of our children's schooling.

The first product released by Crackatonic Projects is "Optimism", a desktop application developed specifically for people with mood disorders. Since its launch in January 2008 it has been very well received in the mental health field.

Crackatonic Projects also develops interactive applications for displaying advertising materials and magazines online. It does this in conjunction with its sister company, Bishop Konig Advertising.
