Lancaster, PA March 12, 2007 -- InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of safety and security software used by private sector businesses as well as local, state, national and international government agencies, will be speaking and exhibiting at the Pennsylvania APCO March 26-28 at the Willow Valley Resort and Conference Center in Lancaster, PA.
The Pennsylvania APCO conference is an opportunity for those in the public safety field to meet, share ideas and learn more about advances in the public safety technology field. The event features an exhibit hall and presentations on a wide range of industry-related topics.
InterAct will be presenting two sessions titled, New Video Surveillance Technologies: Planning 911 Centers for More Proactive and Effective Dispatch, presented by Peter Quintas and Public Safety: It's Not Just 9-1-1 Anymore, presented by Sam Rule.
New Video Surveillance Technologies: Planning 911 Centers for More Proactive and Effective Dispatch will go into detail about how those who are planning development of 911 dispatch centers are recognizing and implementing the need for effective video surveillance technologies. Using intelligent video surveillance, dispatchers can be alerted of emergencies earlier, and be instantly on the scene with live video. Peter Quintas is executive vice president for InterAct's TrueSentry line of security and surveillance solutions. He has spoken at a number of conferences and was recently featured on FOX News.
