Web Application Developer, Information Architect, The Doctor

I've been into Web Applications for years, starting out with side projects and moving into large scale applications.
In multiple situations I have been the sole developer and system administration for large projects, leading to a low level understanding of how to manage entire systems.
My familiarity lies within LAM-PHP/Python systems, though my experience has expanded beyond this realm.
I am constantly looking for a more demanding project--a job that requires dedication, keeps me focused and moving. Sitting still too long without progress can kill a man.

April 2008 — Present (1 year 8 months)
Lead Engineer for a large scale content aggregation network. The Loud3r Network currently hosts 150+ sites dedicated to delivering the most desirable content about individual topics, supporting a central location for the latest news for enthusiasts.
Since coming on board I've rewritten the application base from PHP to Python for RSS aggregation, site content manipulation, NLP engines (classification and clustering methods), and scoring techniques.
I've also been in charge of rewriting and maintaining a web front-end using CodeIgnitor, JQuery and XML as well as developing tools which are capable of replicating unique sites across multiple servers instantaneously.
I am also the system administrator for our current hardware architecture, requiring maintenance of multiple hosted redhat servers, as well as the monitoring and administration of a new cloud computing based solution taking advantage of Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, SDB, SQS and EBS) with debian installations.
I manage our current projects as well as our other developers; this includes implementing elements of the XP ideology that best fit our small team size, managing task distribution, estimating task completion time, documentation, client correspondences and making important technological decisions concerning the advancement of our product.
