Bill Vick’s Summary

The passion that drives me is helping others pursue and achieve excellence. Whether it's an organization or an individual I can help.

By definition I'm a Coach, HeadHunter, serial entrepreneur, author, vlogger, publisher, big biller, speaker, recruiting coach and recruitment industry consultant. I believe everybody has the ability to achieve success in life and my goal is to help others succeed. I work with those in career transition as well as human resources, staffing and recruiting professionals on fine tuning their business.

So far, I've published two books focused on recruiting excellence. The first, Happy About LinkedIn For Recruiting, is about Recruiters using the LinkedIn network and Big Biller, an audio book about million dollar recruiters. My current focus is helping executives in their careers at EmploymentDigest.net

I went from sales and marketing management with fortune 500 companies such as Revlon, Max Factor and Helene Curtis, to the computer and software industries where I launched a chain of computer stores and participated in taking a software company public. I joined Management Recruiters International (MRI) in 1986 and was their National Rookie of the year in 1987. For the last 20 years I have run my own retained executive search business and along the way created a software company focused on software for recruiting and staffing firms, and founded Recruiters OnLine Network (RON), a top 100 web site. I sold my software and web businesses in 2002.

I have been a founder and board member of the Pinnacle Society recognizing achievement in the staffing industry, a national speaker for NAPS, served on the Board of Directors of The Texas Association Staffing Services (TAPS), was an officer with the Metroplex Association of Personnel Services (MAAPS) as well as a founder of the local Dallas Independent Recruiters Group (IRG) and a lifetime member of the USMC Force Recon Association (FRA)

Bill Vick’s Experience

  • Recruiting Industry Consultant

    XtremeRecruiting.tv

    (Staffing and Recruiting industry)

    September 2006Present (3 years 3 months)

XtremeRecruiting.tv has one mission. To help good recruiters become great recruiters. I want to help recruiters who are stuck get un-stuck. Why is it that so many recruiters fall by the wayside while so few move into the ranks of the 'big billers'? What is it that drives big billers to achieve day after day, month after month, year after year? I've been a recruiter and big biller for 20 years. Starting by being Management Recruiters International (MRI) rookie of the year in 1987, to being a founding member of the Pinnacle Society, to making hundreds of high level placements, I know what it takes to move into the big biller ranks. As the author of two best selling books on recruiting including LinkedIn For Recruiting and Big Biller I've discovered how the super stars, the Big Billers do what they do. Visit http://www.XtrermeRecruiting.tv to find out how to move into the Big Biller ranks.
