Bill McMannis’s Summary
Married to Debbie for 32 years with a grown son, Tristan, who is a landscape architect in Charlotte. NC. I grew up in Cincinnati, but spent much of my adult life in Michigan. Debbie and I were very happy to relocate to Asheville in 2005 as this was where we spent much of our vacation time.
I have extensive multi-unit, big-box experience. My experience encompasses operations, planning, P/L responsibility, construction administration and significant emphasis on commercial real estate. These skills allowed me to springboard into residential real estate including sales, office management, recruiting and training.
In addition to significant experience in management, development and commercial real estate, I have an established system for negotiating short sales for distressed homeowners. I was doing this long before the current real estate difficulties and long before short sales became the fad. My method is not one that takes advantage of homeowner under pressure, but to show them every avenue available for them to retain their home. In the event the homeowner is upside in their mortgage and must sell due to job transfer, I have a track record of negotiating with the lender and obtaining mortgage forgiveness. I have trained more than 100 Realtors in this method.
You might say that I bleed blue as I am so enthusiastic about the Coldwell Banker brand. No other real estate brand is in the same league when it comes to history or innovation. I am always happy to talk to persons considering a real estate career or experienced agents about the benefits of Coldwell Banker.
I am active in our church and serve as treasurer of the Swannanoa Chapter of the Society of St. Vincent dePaul.
