Bill Good's Summary
I am the Chairman of Bill Good Marketing. Our entire focus is designing and implementing systems to enable sales people to have the time and money to pursue the important things in life. Our base is in the financial planning and wealth management industries in the United States and Canada. Our ideal client is someone who has survived a few years in the industry, most likely over 100 clients and has the financial capability to invest in his or her business. Most importantly, he or she understands the vital necessity of building or getting on a team.
I write a monthly feature for Research Magazine and almost always have a piece in the "Most Read Articles" section.

Bill Good's Education
University of Virginia
none, Economics
1965 – 1968
I spent 2 1/2 wonderful years at "The University." Anyone who went there or even lived there knows the "The University" is UVa. I had a full ride Ford Foundation fellowship. I lived about 15 miles out of town in what would have been the servant's quarters of an antebellum home. It's name is Glentivar. It was a spectacularly beautiful home. Probably still is. I haven't seen it in a long time.
I completed all the coursework for a Ph.D. in Economics. When time came to write a dissertation, my faculty advisor told me, "What you want to write about does not exist. Pick an easy topic like factory conditions in England in the 1750's." My response: bye-bye. By that time, I had peeked behind the curtain of academia and decided "not for me."
Activities and Societies: Wasn't much of an activity guy. I was there to study and I did. I did spend some of my fellowship money on flying lessons. You cannot imagine anything more beautiful than a solo flight over the Blue Ridge Mountains early on a fall morning.
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
BA, Economics
1961 – 1965
Very nerdy as a student. No formal extra-curricular activities. Carried double major in chemistry and economics until the last year when I decided Med School was not an option.
