Bill French’s Summary
I'm interested in loosely-coupled information systems that help to bridge business and IT objectives. Today, standards-based development is starting gain a strong foothold, and my experience and future objectives dovetail in this exciting area.
Personal publishing for enterprise information workers is still at a very primitive level; my new company is specifically targeting the need for our Weblog Application Server and other applications built on this platform. MyST Technology Partners currently focuses on this emerging market segment with Java and SOAP-based technologies.
Education - Although I have degrees in marketing and accounting, I consider myself both a student and expert in information technology and knowledge worker behavior. A good portion of my education has come through direct customer contact, domestic and international travel, and hundreds of technology presentations in an effort to acquire meaningful and relevant knowledge.
Experience - I’m currently involved in a new development venture called MyST Technology Partners as well as Chief Technology Officer at Global Technologies Corporation, a small consulting and intellectual property development firm. My previous work experiences include government auditing with CPA firms, television station controller, and technology architect in various capacities.
Personal - I live in Keystone, Colorado with my wife Sheryl of twenty years. We have 4 children ages 22 to 31 and spend much of our personal time skiing, biking, and hiking in the mountains. Keystone has been both our home and workplace for the last 15 years.
