As the SMB Product Manager for Alcatel, Bill collaborated to develop marketing programs, catalog pricing, competitive analysis and product feature evolution. Bill was accountable for a suite of products including telephony and networking gear, mobility and collaboration/Web 2.0 application software.
As a Channel Support Manager, Bill performed knowledge transfer to Verizon personnel on products and strategies, led demonstrations in the field, and consulted on technical configurations to increase Verizon’s autonomy in producing revenue.

From the beginning of the product lifecycle, Bill developed, engineered and sold wireless and standard bandwidth and applications, such as Internet, ATM, Frame Relay, broadband video and voice, with a strong emphasis on web advertising models.
Bill directed sales teams of 120+ people including sales and technical personnel in the northeastern U.S. and Canada, increasing company-wide value and driving revenues. He also strategized with NYNEX to be the exclusive provider of Internet bandwidth on their Frame Relay ports, and by integrating our data center the company increased point-to-point T1 sales results.
