About Me:
I am a business intelligence and information management expert with 20 years experience creating and leading teams and companies in the Financial Services, IT, and Marketing industries.
Former member of Storebrand Norden in Scandinavia, Citibank in the US, EU and Middle East, ABN AMRO in The Netherlands and China, NatWest Bank in the UK, Information Innovation in the EU and US, and IAG, AMP, Gartner, ING Direct and The Business Intelligence Group in Australia.

ING DIRECT is Australia's largest direct bank and the fifth largest retail bank.
As part of the Senior Management Team and reporting first to the COO and then to the CFO, I created a new department responsible for driving higher performance though the use of analytics across the Bank. A major new platform was constructed to support business intelligence, analytics and performance management as a core capability of ING DIRECT.
Along the way we also delivered to a dozen other initiatives including new products, compliance, AML and a AAA rated Securitisation transaction.

A member of the global Business Intelligence (BI) team at Gartner. I advised clients in the Asia Pacific Region on BI and Data Warehousing strategies, vendor selection and capability development, especially in end user applications.
Research interests included Vendor capabiity analysis, migration strategies, capability development, business process modelling and metadata management.

Led two major change programs within AMP. The programs consisted of approximately 20 large projects targeting radical change across AMP's core financial processes, methodologies, and applications. Achieved the target of a 20% reduction in staff levels.
