His academic background is MLIS (Master of Library & Information Science) from Karnatak University, Dharwar securing high First Class and Gold Medal. Recipient of National Merit Scholarship for twice. Completed PGDLAN (Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking) from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.

Published & presented technical papers in the field of Library & Information, KM both in national and international conferences/journals and also attended various professional training programs. Authored few chapters in Books & Encyclopedia at national & international level.
