Software architect, designer, programmer, and consultant with broad communication skills. My specialty is enterprise content management, specifically the Oracle/Stellent product line. Formerly a senior Java developer at Stellent, I am now focused on helping businesses maximize the value of their investment in content management. I do this by integrating content management with existing enterprise software, designing ECM strategies, or by assisting with the configuration of security, metadata, or information architecture.
I am also an author, blogger, and I enjoy public speaking. I also love keeping up-to-date with the latest programming languages, frameworks, and toolkits.

As the one who literally "wrote the book" on Stellent, I will use my technical, architectural, and communication skills to maximize the value of content management in your enterprise.
I can design your solution, including the user interface, information architecture, metadata, and custom software modules. I will also implement every part of the solution, or work within a team, to deliver results as quickly as possible.

February 1999 — December 2006 (7 years 11 months)
I architected, designed, and developed new features for Stellent's flagship product: the Stellent Content Server. This product is a web-based content management system, written in Java. I designed connectors to the server for JEE, COM, SOAP, and PHP based applications, as well as other features and "special projects."
I am most proud of writing the textbook "The Definitive Guide to Stellent Content Server Development," available on Amazon.com. This book documents the inner workings of the product, and how to customize it to suit your business needs.
I also created tutorials, presentations, and training courses for audiences of multiple technical levels. I acted as a liaison for development whenever my communication skills were needed.
