Published written work both in print and on the internet. Award winning quilter/textile artist who has taught, facilitated programs and classes, spoken before groups and participated as a quilt judge for Quilt Shows. Served as Editor for several years for a guild newsletter. Sat on boards for guilds who's purposes were to educate, preserve, grow and share the value of the art of quilting.
My current goals are to take the experiences of my combined past and use them to continue to better my writing, research and editing. I plan to finish The BamaSteelMagnolia(TM) Diaries which is a project that combines my writing and textile art project.
I am continuing to work toward my certification for an American Certificate in genealogical studies. I have been pursuing genealogy research now for about 9 years.
