Beverly Garland's Experience

Freelance Artist - Animation, Murals, Illustration

B. Garland Studio

February 2011Present (3 years 8 months) Austin, TX

Inspiring children and adults to be loving stewards of the planet, I provide 2D hand-drawn animation and digital illustration, commercial and residential mural design, theatrical sets, and children's illustration. Recent projects include a children’s interactive installation done with Mine-Control at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center to encourage intervention in bullying scenarios. I have also begun a series of wildlife pieces to promote big cat conservation and raise money for research.

Licensed Avatar Master

The Way of Avatar®

June 2009Present (5 years 4 months) United States

As a self-employed team member, I collaborate with a world-wide network of licensed Avatar Masters to deliver the Avatar Course, which is based on the simple truth that your opinions and habits of thought have more bearing on your experience of life than the actual situations and events. When you learn to recognize and to consciously manage your mental processes, you become the director of your life rather than the victim of circumstances. You create better relationships, richer experiences, increased inner peace, and more rewarding goals for yourself. This is called living deliberately. This is freedom.
