As the Employment Manager I oversee the Recruitment and Retention programs for approximately 800 employees. I also work with the Vice President on Training, Employee Development and Succession Planning and with our Marketing team on Employer Branding. I'm currently working on automating our new employee and new manager training programs in self-directed online modules.
I have recently developed and implemented a new recruitment/interviewing program that has cut down our overall recruitment to offer time from 4 weeks to 10 days (on average). While at the same time increasing our offer acceptance rate from 50% to 80%.
I have the unique opportunity to work across all departments. I'm challenged every day and know I've learned more in the past year than I could every have imagined when I accepted this position. Innovation is the name of the game, how to work smarter, faster and more efficiently than before to keep ahead of the changes and trends.
