I attended the University of Wisconsin and Western Kentucky University. I have a major in English and a minor in Art, and recently went back to college for teacher certification.
I now tutor students learning English as a second language individually and teach an Intermediate English class at the International Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I also tutor students in English, and help people learn how to operate programs on their computers.
I am an advocate for nontraditional students, who are students going back to school after a break. I have a website, a blog, and a forum for help and advice.

I am the owner of Betsy’s CGC, a tutoring and computer lesson business in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I help people learn about the internet, personal computers, computer software and more. I also help students with English, ESL, and study skills.
My specialty is helping seniors learn how to operate their computers and go online. I teach how to send and receive email, make custom web pages and blogs, and how to operate many different kinds of software.
I am available to tutor students of all ages in English, Social Studies, Drama, Poetry, writing, reading, SAT/ACT prep, test preparation, class projects, ceramics, weaving, beginning piano, goal-setting, homework and study skills, and more.

After the owner of Gerald Printing, Joe Davis, bought Thomas Printing Company in April 1999, I started employment there. I edited and proofread forms, container art, newsletters and more with Pagemaker, Illustrator, Corel 8, and Photoshop programs, along with other major graphics programs such as Lotus and Microsoft. I was laid off because of a work slowdown at the company.
