My strength is to be the bridge between customers / sales and delivery where I am responsible for making new products that are either customer business driven or operation driven. An example of the first is helping customers through the process of making agile websites, the second to optimize the service in quality (tooling) or reduction of costs needed in the delivery of our for high end e-business webhosting. I have for filled many roles within my employer from management to business development and high end consulting and currently act as an innovation manager for our media customers.

I have been presenting / speaking at Mediaplaza (multiple Drupal events and Open Source conferences), guest speaker at Haagsche Hoge School, JaarBeurs Utrecht (ICT en logistiek, Linux World Expo), T-Dose 2007, eduvision and many other conferences as well as numerous presentations for the board of prospects and customers of my employer.

Privately I am passionated about Drupal (an open source CMS) MythTV (an open source PVR), my girlfriend, daughter (http://brecht.boerland.com) and son (http://aart.boerland.com).
