Business & Technology Guy with a Thing for Innovation
Grand Forks, North Dakota Area
I'm interested in solving interesting business problems with technology with the ultimate goal of making customers' lives better.
I speak fluent Geek. I've done everything from systems architecture and programming to software training (for K-12 teachers) and help desk support. I'm passionate about making really awesome web apps and creating websites that sell.
I've also got a strong business background. I graduated with my MBA in 2007, and know my way around financial reports and a balance sheet (I took weed-out accounting courses for fun). Over the last few years I've become very interested in marketing and copywriting and strongly believe old-school advertising is dead.
I'm an innovator. I believe *everything* can be made better than it currently is. Easier to use. Faster. Better Design. Less expensive. There's always room for improvement.
I'm convinced that the future belongs to small, agile companies instead of big, bloated, corporations. I'll take the willingness and ability to fail fast and make changes quickly over the culture and slow pace of huge companies any day.
