An adaptive network architect and technologist with over 13 years of experience in the Service Provider industry, currently focused on next-generation datacenter and cloud technologies including enhanced ethernet, virtualization, and global load-balancing. Previous notable projects have included the architecture and design of Savvis' global Next-Generation Network (NGN) commercially described as the Application Transport Network (ATN), the architecture and design of Savvis' datacenter network commercially described as Hosting Area Network (HAN) 2.0, the design and implementation of Savvis' L3-VPN network commercially described as Intelligent IP (IIP), as well as co-founding and operating a local ISP commercially known as BPC Internet. Current interests and research includes routing in the global Internet, BGP, and related topics.
