My aim is to define a professional life of discovering and understanding every current and emerging aspect of computer technology. This ‘techie’ drive to understand is a kind of calling that began when I was still a boy, over 20 years ago. By age 13 I was completely hooked. There are other interests in my life but the computer and its mysteries feature large.
My abilities played a major role in the integration of an industrial real estate database with web-based GUI allowing varying access levels ranging from public to secure. I used an enterprise application builder that allows dynamic sites to be capable of interfacing with databases enabling teams to collaborate in the dynamic web-based business applications. Examples include intranets and portals. This environment was built from the structure of a major leading open source that also incorporates build features like site search, news, personalization, email, and e-commerce into web sites and applications.
Additional skills and experience include: Install and configure Linux/Unix of any flavor, hardware install and diagnosis, servers of all types and brands, networking, wifi wireless and DSL/broadband. Setup variable structure and infrastructure in the workplace; setup & configuration of laptops, PDA's, MAC's, PC's, email accounts/servers, repairs, analysis, & the training/education associated with such changes. Administrative duties; system backups; virus removal.
