Senior developer & architect specialising in Java / Enterprise Java (JEE), Lotus Notes & Domino and advanced web development. I was a Technical Design Authority at last employer, focussing on Lotus Notes & Domino-related technologies.

I have led small teams of developers in the past, mentor a number of junior developers, and have worked on applications at local, regional and global levels.

I enjoy learning new technologies and approaches to my work. Currently I am engaged in development and design using IBM Websphere, Spring, Hibernate and various RDBMS technologies, whilst also maintaining my Lotus Notes & Domino skills.

I am also very interested in the new wave of IBM / Lotus technologies, specifically Lotus Connections, Quickr, Sametime, Lotus Expeditor and Lotus Notes 8 (the latter three heavily based upon Eclipse technology).

My current goals are centred around working for a dynamic IT organisation that is wholly focussed on the needs of its customers, with the means to deliver.
