Responsible for project managing a range of digital projects, including website builds, on-going platform development, and mobile application builds. Through all projects my objectives were the same: to deliver excellent projects to clients and to protect the Digital Team from impediments.

I introduced the team to daily stand-ups and kanban boards, helping us to improve the management of impediments; increase visibility for the whole team of Purple Frog's project portfolio; and better understand what external suppliers were achieving each day.

I also introduced rapid prototyping and Agile processes, where the team had previously used pure Waterfall processes. This helped the team increase their effectiveness and allowed clients to make decisions more easily: not every client is comfortable with wireframes, so developing a prototype design let them better understand our ideas. It also allowed us to adapt to clients' and suppliers' working styles and needs, especially important in on-going builds.

Also responsible for introducing new digital marketing initiatives to the agency, including marketing strategy creation and SEO consultation and implementation.

Make A Donation(Link)

Ongoing improvement of a charity donation and loyalty scheme platform. Launched in 2012, the platform gives charities 100% of the donations made by fundraisers, not charging processing or administration fees to the charities as other platforms do. Fundraisers earn loyalty points, which are used to buy vouchers from businesses signed up to the scheme.

Originally approached as an iterative waterfall build, when I arrived I switched the project to an Agile methodology. Kanban boards and online ticketing of tests allowed the distributed team - at two locations in Spain and one in the UK - to communicate effectively, improved transparency, allowed us to reduce project overheads, and helped us work better with the client on prioritising features. daily scrums were held in the UK and in Spain whenever the project was being worked on, and a weekly scrum-of-scrums between the PMs in England and Spain helped increased transparency for both the development team and the client.

The result was a reduction of release times down from months to four weeks, including implementing a complete change in business model in just two months. Numerous functionality points were addressed, bugs fixed, and plans made for future sprints. Transparency was improved for the client, and their natural tendency to inject urgent feature requests into the team's workflow was stablised; this helped reduce impediments and so increased the success of our realses in the eyes of the client while also reducing delays.
