My expertise is in social media and blogging. I have experience running social media campaigns and maintaining blogs on behalf of clients. I also have extensive professional experience in media, across numerous mediums.
I'm interested in the evolving ecosystem of news and social media, and how people engage with and use social media. I'm also an active blogger outside of client activity. I contribute regularly to the digital marketing and ecommerce blog Econsultancy, community management blog Fresh Networks and Online Journalism Blog.
I have developed two online-only student magazines. The first, at Central Michigan University, is called Grand Central Magazine. It is currently run by the Journalism Department and has been integrated into the school's curriculum. The second, at City University London, is called CityOnline Magazine. It is currently being re-launched with a new staff.
I am currently in the dissertation phase of an MSc. in ePublishing at City University London and am exploring potential topics.
