Benjamin Wey is a naturalized United States citizen whose expertise on Chinese mercantile culture and trends (particularly international trade between the United States and China) has facilitated his rise to success in the arena of capital markets. Born in China, Mr. Wey is a bilingual Chinese-American who first arrived on American soil in 1992 as an international student at Oklahoma Baptist University. Specializing in business management, Wey earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree on a full valedictorian scholarship at Oklahoma Baptist. Wey then went on to pursue and attain a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Benjamin Wey is the current president of New York Global Group (NYGG). Dually based in Beijing and New York, New York Global Group is a venture investment, investment banking and strategic consulting firm intensively involved in the advocacy and advisement of China related projects. New York Global Group is a firm specially recognized for its work with Chinese markets. In 2006, New York Global Group received the distinction of “Best Foreign Investment Banking Firm Serving China's Middle Markets” from China Securities Daily.

New York Global Group began advising on China related transactions in 1998, and since then, their forays into the Chinese market have successfully facilitated over 180 commercial interactions in such areas as strategic market entry, project due diligence, and investment banking.
