Prior to my current role I worked as a software developer in multiple countries. It gave me the chance to work with talented individuals and first hand experience with many exciting areas of technology.
My current role with IBM is working with companies in Northeast Ohio to help them define and improve their application lifecycle management processes through best practices and Rational's software development solutions.
I have interests in IT strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and the evolving software development landscape.

Working in a team of four with our mentor, Pankaj Zanwar, we created the Blue SLadgets framework which connects Second Life objects with the real world. This enables data exchange in a rich immersive environment. Our team received two IBM InnoWiz awards and I had a story and quote in the Indian Times Economic section regarding our project's success.

Working in a team of four with our mentor, Richard Harper, we designed CAM, a high availability manager using Linux HA clustering and the Xen virtualization hypervisor. CAM allows a user to select a level of uptime for a service and automatically migrates virtual machines from various physical machines located in a cluster. I helped draft ten patent disclosures, resulting in one submitted patent and four published disclosures.
