Senior Information Security Engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Information Technology Division

I fell in love with computers since 1992 when I was 11 and I haven't been able to take myself away since. I have been a software engineer, database administrator, and systems/network administrator in a wide variety of positions with Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In my current job I help secure the Commonwealth's network being involved in risk assessment, penetration testing, and policy enforcement.
In my spare time, I have contributed to open source software packages and I currently am maintaining two. I am active in various computer security groups and am one of the many nameless faces involved in phishing prevention and response. I've given presentations at conferences on the topics of open source software, telecommunications network, and voice over IP. I have also recently written a book with Elsevier publishing on the Asterisk PBX, titled "Asterisk Hacking"
Computer security, network security, software development, database administration, computer forensics, Voice over IP, penetration testing
