I've focused on developing wired and wireless (MANET, ad hoc mesh) network technologies for multi-mode wireless networks, Emergency Response and Tactical networks, geolocation communication and tracking systems; network application test tools; developing, building and securing ad hoc wireless networks; research and development in distributed agent systems; development of custom and COTS software into commercial products; network monitoring research, analysis, and implementation; and software design and implementation.
I am a partially open networker on LinkedIn, mainly looking for R&D partners and opportunities. I also actively use LinkedIn to find and connect with past friends and colleagues. To that end I own or moderate many LinkedIn groups with matching Yahoo Discussion Groups. These groups include:
* LinkedTwinCities / LinkedInTwinCities
* LinkedMinnesota / LinkedInMinnesota
* LinkedIowa / LinkedInIowa
* 4-H_Alum_Networking
* Iowa4HAlum
* Iowa4HAlumStoryCounty
* FarmHouse-Networking
* FH-ISU-alums
You can contact me at ben@burnett.ws through LinkedIn or otherwise, I'll try not to IDK your invite, but I do not connect with everyone, I am an open but limited networker. I am interested in past acquaintances, friends, wireless and R&D professionals.
