Interning in college at a radio station to get my foot in the door has led to an enjoyable career in advertising and marketing. I have over 12 years experience in all aspects of communication, from public relations to marketing, for over 30 different clients in several fields. I have worked in both the Account Service and Creative departments in Advertising Agencies, so this gives me a great perspective when doing either job. I am extremely creative, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
In the past few years I have been drawn to Social Media. When I lost my job in 2009, I started using Twitter on a more regular basis. I soon became one of the top Twitter users on Long Island. I turned my obsession with Tweeting into Basically Becky, a Graphic Design and Social Media Management firm.
