Having its own logistics centres and offices at 40 different locations in 10 countries including Turkey, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, USA, Hong Kong and China; BGL provides door-to-door integrated global logistics services in the supply chain including all modes of international transportation (land, air, sea, rail), customs clearance, bonded/non-bonded warehousing, stock management, distribution and value-added contract logistics services to its clients, mainly international conglomerates in various sectors including automotive, white/brown goods, electronics, IT, FMCG, textile, packaging, retail, etc.

Joined IPRAGAZ, an LPG distribution company in the energy sector and a subsidiary of SHV Holding BV of Holland, with a mission of managing a series of projects to streamline and reengineer the business processes in order to properly support the strategies, include an appropriate set of controls, reflect international best practice and subsequently implement an integrated Enterprise Information System built on a solid nationwide IT infrastructure.
Within these guidelines, the projects were carried out successfully. Following the BPR, SAP R3 suite of ERP modules were implemented in 5 months and rolled out to some 50 sites throughout Turkey. The major key to success in the process was the importance put on Change Management (CM) and contribution of the employees. Encouraging a two-way communication, extra effort was spent to communicate the reasons and objectives of the projects to almost all the employees in the company, and to inform them regularly about the progress.

Altinyildiz, one of the major manufacturers of quality woollen textiles and ready-to-wear clothing in Turkey, believed that Information Systems and Technology plays a vital part in achieving its target of becoming the best in its field. Based on this, with a team of 12, a chain of projects were initiated to re-engineer the business processes and migrate the Information Systems from mainframe to Open Systems Client-Server architecture.
IS&Ts main task was to form an IT infrastructure and deliver high quality IT solutions allowing a liberated information base having the key properties of specific, result-oriented, accurate, reliable, up-to-date, accessible, sharable and economic data towards contributing to the organisation-wide reengineering process with an aim to become a customer-oriented, learning and knowledge-based organisation where knowledge is accepted as precious as gold.

Performed the lead role in the Project Support Office providing project management support and consultancy to a number of projects handled by the Project Office aiming to prepare Koc Holding, one of the biggest group of companies in Turkey, for the 2000s with a standardisation in financial applications among Koc companies which span from automotive to white/brown goods manufacturing, financial services to supermarkets and retail.

At Applications Management Division of CapGemini UK (former Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini UK Plc. and Hoskyns Plc.) which is one of the worlds leading consulting, information technology and outsourcing companies, performed a number of different roles in systems development and support mainly in Financial and Accounting applications including Ledgers, Financial and Management Accounts, Asset and Stock Control, Management Information, Decision Support and Executive Information Systems.
These roles included systems analysis, requirements definition, design, function specification, programming, support and maintenance, installation and upgrades of package software, systems and quality assurance testing, user documentation, applications consultancy, team leading and project management using structured techniques and CASE tools in an IBM mainframe environment.
