Kathleen Hogg’s Summary
While working at CIBC Kathleen graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce - Major in Marketing, Minor in Business and Technical Communications. Kathleen Hogg had an extensive career in the financial field, working in Marketing, Underwriting, Software Development, Customer Service and Wholesaling until 2001. Upon that time, she became an entrepreneur as an independent business consultant.
Working with a consulting firm, as an independent consultant; she produced a financial product and software analysis report, which soon became an industry standard. In 2005 Bath-a-holic was created, due to a desire to create; natural bath and body products catering to those with sensitive skin and an interest in the environment. This provided Kathleen with an intimate knowledge of the retail business model; complimenting 19 years experience in business services.
Bath-a-holic provided an intense training ground for product development, pricing, research, distribution, government regulations, accounting, branding and customer service just for starters. During this time, Kathleen became involved with a network of small and medium sized businesses, complimenting her previous experience with large corporations. This creative network allowed Kathleen to develop comprehensive knowledge of many different businesses. Thus, seeing the opportunity to assist these enthusiastic entrepeneurs in the creation, development and analysis of their businesses.
