Working on a freelance basis for Werkadoo, I completed a rebranding project for an oil & gas company that included updating their logo and business stationary, corporate sell sheets and tradeshow banners. I also designed the Werkadoo e-newsletter to date.

Julie Bateman brings over twelve years of experience in the graphic design industry. Her five years previous to starting Bateman Design Group were spent as designer and part owner of a graphic design company and service bureau in Barrie, Ontario. This provided her with a solid understanding of marketing and business practices, as well as the need to stay on budget and meet deadlines.
To keep overhead costs down, we maintain an independent operation and hire outside specialists such as illustrators, copywriters, marketers and website programmers when needed. This means we can offer a wide range of services in one convenient location at reasonable prices and quicker turn around times.

I developed a website with my sister, with the goal to entertain, educate and inspire women who were finished with school and ready to start their 'real life'. The website included blogs from my point of view as "Big Sister" in a happy relationship and a steady job, as well as from my "Little Sister" who was single, actively dating, and just starting her career.
This was a wonderful experience for me to be able to experiment creatively, as well as try different marketing techniques. I designed the website, wrote most of the content, developed our media and sales kits, joined with other companies to create contests and cross promotions, designed and created a trade show booth, wrote press releases and managed print and web based marketing campaigns.
Our efforts resulted in national news exposure in print and on television.
