As a partner at 4Building B.V. I'm responsible for all health care projects at 4Building.

Specialties are in innovative concept & design management of hospitals. Recent experience with design of state-of-the-art Dutch hospitals.

Housing projects go beyond 'the laying of bricks'. My challenges in each project are:
- How to develop a working environment for the client's organization in which they can excel and continuously keep developing?
- How to integrate business case based thinking including sustainable (energy, emissions, flexibility, TCO) design?
- How to realize this in an inspiring, transparent and well managed process?

4Building B.V. is an independent consultancy firm, equipped with knowledge and experience enabling them to organize and monitor the entire construction process. In order to do this, we maintain a multi-disciplinary organization, which next to consultancy services can take care of complete project management.

We also look after part-projects within specific phases of the construction process, providing advice from the initial stages to building maintenance and management. Our consultants are currently working on projects in all categories of healthcare facilities.

I participated in the winning "Core Hospital" team of the 2004 design competition of 'Future Hospitals' as organized by the Dutch Board of Healthcare facilities (Cbz).In 2007 our team was nominated a honorable remark in the design competition 'Health 2025' with our application called ZorgeNLoos Living.
