BARRY SIGALE’s Summary

Barry Sigale is Founder and Principal of Sigale Public Relations, a full-service marketing communications firm that takes entrepreneurs and companies to greater visibility in the electronic and print media. He is resourceful and results-driven creating unique and advantageous placements of his client’s talents, products and services. Barry’s approach is predicated on a best-fit perspective and a thorough understanding of the target marketplace.

Barry is a world-class copywriter who solidifies brands and raises his clients to prominence. He can also bolster an existing media presence. Barry’s talent is in his ability to enhance reputation and broaden reach (both online and offline) and, ultimately, establish a leadership position for his clients, He draws upon his experience in media and his wealth of professional and personal contacts to help individuals and companies achieve exposure goals and penetrate new markets. Working with start-up ventures or established companies in the consumer or B2B markets, Barry takes a best practice approach in creating the optimum campaign.

Among Barry's crowning achievements in a career that has spanned over four decades: He introduced nationally and/or worldwide the battery-operated smoke detector, the battery-operated, voice-activated rubber "Wigglin Chicken" (featured by the late Tonight Show host Johnny Carson), and "Ribbit Frog" (personally purchased by then President Bill Clinton and kept in the Oval Office), an online alibi provider for “saving marriages,” and the smart car. He is among the leading marketers of Texas Hold'em poker tournaments and poker products. Most recently, his firm collaborated with the developer of the PortaPocket carrying case. The campaign reached its zenith when The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the fourth hour of the Today Show on NBC featured the product. An audience of over 7 million resulted in a flurry of traffic to the PortaPocket website and a significant increase in sales.
