I am currently participating in a Pro-Bono initiative where I am senior producing and directing a local cable TV show that focuses on a job search in the current economy. The shows tag line is "A Show about Job Seekers by Job Seekers" and has made headlines locally, nationally, and even internationally.
The objective of the show is to help the community by providing helpful information and tips to those in a job search, as well as helping those in a job search gain exposure by showcasing their skills on the show in the 30 second elevator pitch. Our plans include marketing these to employers through various media channels in hopes that these people will be seen by employers and find jobs.
Latest numbers indicated that The New England Job Show is now in 300,000 households in five states: Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
