As President of newly formed Symbion Marketing I am encompassing my experience over the past 25 years in business management and marketing to help small to medium size companies increase their awareness and sales.
My experience in business dates back to 1983 where at the tender age of 19 I entered the business realm as a store manager for a 45 retail chain, Cooper's Fixery. After about 4 years in retail, I realized I no longer wished to work directly with consumers, but would rather pursue a career in B2B.
So in 1986 I joined the Transamerica Group as an Operations Manager in the tractor trailer leasing division, in Louisville. Over the next four years I was promoted to Branch Manager, then relocated to their second largest facility in Los Angeles Ca.
I earned my AA in Business Administration at Glendale College, L.A. I felt a calling to sales and marketing during this time, and in 1990 I left Transamerica for a career in sales for Lowen Color Graphics.
Moved back to Louisville in 1991, and earned my Marketing Degree in 2000. Shortly thereafter I landed the job at ProLift Industrial Equipment as Corporate Marketing Manager.
It was there that I learned a great deal about channel marketing, brand awareness and how it drives sales, and the importance marketing plays in this process. Intrigued with new media, I joined NetWorld Alliance as Sales Manager for their Foodservice division.
During that year with NetWorld I earned my honorary Masters in online publishing/marketing from Paul Barron, who contrary to Al Gore's opinion, invented the internet. Paul was instrumental in teaching me the in's and out's of getting messages heard online using email, the internet, social media, and new media.
My calling for starting my own business became too strong, and in April of 2008 I formed Symbion Marketing.
Wish me well!
