I am a specialist in disaster preparedness. I am also a first responder with training in first-aid, cpr, evacuation planning and a host of other area's. I am a member of N.F.P.A. (National Fire Protection Association) and C.E.R.T. Community Emergency Response Training. Our company is in conjunction with Homeland Security, and F.E.M.A. (Federal Emergency Management Agengy) and The Mayor of NewYorkCity, Ready NewYork program and it's efforts to get the public ready for disaster's. we educate the public in these efforts and will assist companies, organization's, religious institution's and small businesses with disaster planning, or what we call, Emergency Action Plan (E.A.P.). Our product's, are Personal Emergency Kit's(P.E.K.'s) which are utility bags, They contain items that can enhance or increase your survival in the event of a un-forseen disaster. Disaster & Immediate Evacuation was founded based on the NewYorkCity Blackout(Poweroutage) and my experience led me to plan and develope a service that was seriously needed, not only in the U.S., but abroad too. We are hardly the only game in town, but it let us know at D.I.E. that we were on the right track. Also, under contract with Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (H.C.C.I.) a community based organization serving low income neighborhoods. As an instructor/consultant, for their Construction Opportunities Program C.O.P. conducting workshops on job readiness, internal conflict resolution, stress management, and confrontational skills observation.
