Entrepreneur, Marketing Director and sometimes Product Manager
Greater Los Angeles Area
- My professional experience includes various positions in software/Web services marketing in functional and senior roles both in the start-up and enterprise environment. Currently, I act as an Internet entrepreneur.
Speaking idealistically, my ultimate goal is to create a healthy environment of happy people who live on a common purpose and make this small world a little better through continuous changes that inevitably lead to (r)evolutionary breakthroughs. It's somewhat close to the philosophy of "kaizen" and Kazuo Inamori's ideas.
Now, speaking practically, my focus is entirely on the social aspects of the Web, commonly known as Web 2.0. Behind this massive social phenomenon that has recently become a buzz word and subject to a lot of hype and speculations, I can see great opportunities for creating meaningful and highly profitable businesses.
I believe that opportunities the Web has created for sharing and spreading knowledge and skills are under-utilized. That said, the domain of eLearning and interactive distance education is of my peculiar interest.
- Managing and planning marketing activities
- Search engine marketing and organic optimization
- Affiliate program management
- Online advertising (the media buyer role)
- Online direct sales and marketing
- Product management

I worked at Audioo from its inception in November 2006 thru August 2008. In June 2008 Audioo was acquired by MoxyMedia.

Audioo is often dubbed as YouTube for Audio. Viral in nature, it is moving towards a platform to share, edit, and store voice mails and phone conversations, podcasts, lectures and other audio files.
The above flavors of user-generated audio content have a high potential for explosive growth given their mass adoption. Having reached a stage of invisibility -- voice mails, phone conversations and conference calls are so integrated into our daily personal and business life that we stopped noticing them.
They don’t have to be glamorous at all. Scandalous, sexy or confessional, funny and entertaining, disgusting and stupid -- or all of the above -- these recordings reflect our lives in a variety of masks, and, most importantly, they want to break free…

For a short period of time I took an active organizational role at the Orgmentis project which is all about corporate brand monitoring and online reputation measurement. Soon after that I resigned to found a Web 2.0 project (the social Web is my favorite pet).
