I am a leader of technology innovation in IBM Research, with more than 12 years of post-PhD experience in creating, evaluating, and applying new & emerging technologies to solve real-world problems. I have played many roles -- technology researcher, executive, worldwide research strategist, patent evaluator, program manager of joint investment between IBM research and business units, and relationship manager with senior IBM executives.
I continue to technically innovate in Computer Science (distributed systems and software engineering) and the new discipline of Service Science. I take active part in these communities, I have authored over 40 research publications and filed for over 25 patents, and I participate on PhD and other advisory committees.
