Partner-Owner at Kuhs & Parker
Bakersfield, California Area
I am a business and real estate attorney in Bakersfield, CA, representing small and emerging companies, real estate developers, and high worth individuals. I am looking to develop strategic relationships with business owners and real estate developers, as well as other professionals (e.g. civil engineers, brokers CPAs, consultants) in order to provide a solutions based approach to my clients' legal needs.
As a partner in Kuhs & Parker, I am actively involved in various business and legal organizations. I have been engaged in professional development seminars involving all facets of real estate law and have taught business and real estate law at various local universities.
I enjoy working with young lawyers to help them develop their career--both practice development and client development. The lessons I review with young lawyers can help any young professional. I currently maintain a blog entitled "MarketingForYoungProfesssionals," which can be reached at the blog link below.
I currently joint venturing with the Kern Economic Development Corporation to assemble a steering committee to evaluate the feasibility of starting a business incubator in Kern County.
I have substantial experience in business reorganizations and restructurings, having begun my legal career as a business bankruptcy attorney.
