I have more than six years of research and consulting experience in human capital management and knowledge management; and seven years of experience managing international engineering projects. In my current role, my main responsibility is to deliver values to CPAA members through knowledge offerings and learning & development activities. As a doctoral researcher, I have spent five years investigating ways to improve knowledge-sharing motivation at the workplace. As a project manager, I have led in various large scale and complex engineering projects across Asia, Europe, and the USA. I am passionate about KM and HRM issues. I am active in the local KM community, having served the Singapore-based Information and Knowledge Management Society (iKMS) as an executive committee member. I am a huge fan, albeit not a heavy user, of Web 2.0. I am a firm believer in evidence-based decision making. I am pragmatic, result-oriented, and attentive to details. I have substantial international working experience, having worked, lived, and traveled to more than 20 countries.
I am fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin and several other Chinese dialects. I love all kinds of sports although I have little time for them now. I like good books and jazz. I have a beautiful family, a loving wife and an adorable ‘angelic’ little princess.
