What have I done?

I have started my career in the airline industry in the ticketing and fare calculation field. I have specialized in IATA regulations in passenger tariffs. I was (and still) building my theoretical background in adjacent fields like reservation systems, sales, marketing, brand management, revenue management and passenger handling.

What am I doing?

While working on little initiatives to improve my work environment, I am still working on some big projects to benefit the community. Some of those projects are:

- The Taxiway book for airliners and targeted to would-be airline professionals or travel agents built on low coast basis.
- Bridge the gap initiative. A community based website to gather professionals and investors and build up ideas of projects targeted to low-income customers.
- relaunch of my website with specialized articles on "the office inside management" for medium and large companies and "social studies"

What am I going to do?

On the near future I am looking to improve my knowledge in two fields which are Revenue management and economics.
My future prospective is towards marketing solutions in connection with the web, cultural studies and project management.

What am I interested in?

Politics, economics, social studies, HR management, Airline Revenue Management, religions, human history and development.

    Achievements:

    • Design projects for agency sales distribution, pricing and staff control;
    • Improve effective communication internally by organizing regular team meetings and network shared folders for sales and reservation sections;
    • Provide a solid back-up for the decisions and organization of the sales and reservation team;

They were the general sales agent of Gulf Air, Austrian Airlines, JAL (offline) and Kuwait Airways. The short period I spent with them was divided between their main office and Gulf Air office.

    • Conduct a successful training session to Aleppo's office on the new Kuwait airways reservation system.
    • Contribute in a workshop held in Gulf Air's head office to develop the corporate sales department in the company "Corporate Sales workshop – Aug 04 – Bahrain"

    Julia Dumna was the general sales agent of several international airlines such as Royal Jordanian, Libyan Airlines, Air Arabia, Tunis Airlines and Ukrainian Airlines. I served as a sales and reservation agent mainly for Libyan Airlines and Air Arabia.

    Achievements:
    • Develop the efficiency of using the reservation and ticketing system (Libyan Airlines).
    • Contribute in the starting of the new airline office in Damascus (Air Arabia) by maintaining communication and with head office and study and application of companies' core values, vision and ethics.
