As a musicologist I do research in the field of performance studies which includes a wide range of issues concerning how and why performers play as they do. I focus on the composer Arnold Schoenberg and the culture of the first part of the Twentieth Century. I published articles in various online and non-online journals and I am working at the moment on a book for Oxford University Press.
