As part of the NASSCOM team, Avinash has been adding immense value to the organisation’s membership initiatives. Leading by example, Avinash has also taken the ownership of the NASSCOM EMERGE Forum, a platform celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship by promoting start-ups and supporting emerging businesses focused in the IT-BPO segment. The Forum has evolved over time into an innovative eco-system conducive to the growth of the participating companies.
He has been instrumental in providing immense value to NASSCOM members, by launching activities which allow them to showcase their prowess at a global level and gain credibility and standing. With the vision of creating value and making it accessible to a wide segment of the society, Avinash has enabled members to connect and network with established peers through the NASSCOM EMERGE Community, which boasts of a 1600+ member community engaging in high value discussions online. The initiative extends to the NASSCOM EMERGE Blog which has some of India’s top IT thought leaders authoring and sharing key insights with the community.
Avinash also manages the regional councils - NASSCOM Regional Council - Noida & Gurgaon.
Apart from engaging with members, he is providing strategic direction to the NASSCOM website and is a key support and lead in developing innovative solutions related to technology issues at NASSCOM.
Avinash's core expertise includes Strategic Marketing, Brand Management, and Online Marketing. In his personal time, he enjoys cricket, tennis and travelling.
