Aurora Carragal’s Summary
I started acting when I was a teenager, when I joined the theatre group at Gran Capitán High School (Madrid, Spain), from 1995 until 1997. In 1998 I started my drama university degree at the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK), in the Torrelodones College (Madrid, Spain) what now is part of the program of the University Nebrija (Madrid, Spain). Once I finished my BA in Drama (Acting) in 2002, I continued my studies with a post-degree on Directing until 2004, being one of those who got the best scores of the graduates. I had the chance and luck of working in theatre as an actress, director, assistant and even stage manager or sound and light technician, for some well-known theatres of Madrid (Spain), with a few different theatre companies, most of them related to children's theatre and musicals. In 2003 I founded TeDeCHé Theatre Company, together with some university partners and other actors an actresses, where I've been directing and producing shows, which are still being played. One year after I arrived Bonn (Germany), in 2006, I quit being part of the company's partners. I lived in Bonn for more than three years. In 2005 I made contact with the Die Raben experimental theatre company, and I joined their body expression workshop a few times.
Because of personal matters, I had to leave the stages (and the backstage) until now, but I still have in mind tons of scenes and projects waiting to become true really soon.
I am an active person, responsible, hard worker, decisive, open-minded, used to work under pressure, talkative and communicative, and easy going.
