Asvin Balloo’s Summary
I am a Web Developer based in Mauritius. Since July 2004, I have been working at Telecom Plus Ltd, a subsidiary of Mauritius Telecom, one of the largest firms of the island. Over the years, I have been mostly involved with the LAMP platform, from developing backend/front-end scripts, administering Linux servers, to compiling apache/mysql/php and trying some javascript frameworks for popular web applications in Mauritius.
My aim is to join an innovative company with a fun and friendly environment and have the chance to work on international high volume web applications. I am particularly interested with Web 2.0 software applications. Ideally, this would also give me the opportunity to live in another country and acquire international experience.
