Science and technology forecaster, with an interest in the social and institutional implications of emerging technologies and scientific practices. Currently I'm information ecologist on X2 (http://sciencex2.org), a project to map the intertwined futures of science, technology, and innovation.
Other recent research projects have focused on the use of pervasive computing technologies in sustainability; the evolution of collective intelligence; and the future of the Internet of Things. I've also written on new technologies and methods in futures work and forecasting.
My scholarly work is mainly devoted to finishing a book on the end of cyberspace, and working with students in the technology and strategy class at the Said Business School at Oxford University.
