  My responsibilities have grown in the past year, and I'm now responsible for the Security and industry beats.
  
  Security is one of the biggest traffic driver to the site, which means that I constantly have to write good quality content and keep up to date with the latest trends.
  
  I usually write three or four news stories every day which can range from short pieces picked up from the national press to longer analysis pieces which involve me talking to experts in the field or the relevant IT vendors.
  
  I have also learnt the required CMS and HTML skills to post up stories, source my own pictures as well as edit content pulled from other news stories like Reuters, which we have a contract with.
  
  I have also learned how to write successfully on the web thanks to various training courses and experience. I constantly analyse and measure news web traffic thanks to my expertise with Hitbox and Google Analytics.
  
  I have experience with talking to high-level IT bosses, easy in making contacts and can source news from a range of sources, including RSS.
