Ash Singh's Summary
Ash Singh, an improbable mixture of Indian blood, Canadian birth, Chinese education, and Asian business experience, has already established himself as one of Asia's up and coming serial entrepreneurs. While still a student at Chinese University in Hong Kong, he conceived and launched Social Network Business Systems, a business network development company which was acquired when we was just 22 years old.
Singh's next role served as the Chief Technology Officer for At-Life, which created Singapore’s largest customer loyalty rewards program with 500,000 members, for McDonald's in all of their 125 restaurants.
His entrepreneurial escapades led to several awards including being named one of Asia’s Top Young Entrepreneurs in 2009 by Business Week.
Ash is currently the CEO Interactive.SG - Asia's leading digital media and new business accelerator based in Singapore. Interactive.SG has already collaborated on new media projects with established companies from such diverse industries as entertainment, technology, real estate, and education.
His current project "The Angel's Gate" is Asia's first 360 TV platform for entrepreneurs which is currently airing its first season on MediaCorp's Channel NewsAsia and YouTube.
Singh is also committed to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs. He is a speaker and honorary judge for business venture competitions at the INSEAD, SMU, NUS, NTU, Synergy Business School (Russia) and his alma mater, The Richard Ivey School of Business.
As a basketball fan, he is a co-owner and "super fan" of the Singapore Slingers professional basketball team.
In his free time, Ash promotes his favourite hobby, turbans, through his mobile app "Turbanizer" which is on track for 1MM downloads this year.
