New Media Producer - Entrepreneur - Investor I show businesses how to use social media for community building
Singapore
Ash Singh, an improbable mixture of Indian blood, Canadian birth, Chinese education, and Singaporean business experience, has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of e-business. While still a student of the Richard Ivey School of Business at Chinese University in Hong Kong, he conceived and launched Social Network Business Systems, a social and business network development company. This venture led to a successful full-time enterprise that was eventually acquired by Singapore-based Ad.WRIGHT Holdings, a specialist in branding, advertising, and new media.
Along with his commitments with Ad.Wright, Singh concurrently served as the Chief Technology Officer for At-Life Pte Ltd, which manages in-store plasma screens, kiosk network and Singapore’s largest customer loyalty rewards program with almost 500,000 members, for McDonald’s.
Ash is currently the Vice-President Interactive of Imagine OmniMedia, a Singapore based production company focused on reality television in Asia. Ash is responsible for interactive elements for productions which include The Contender Asia.
Singh is also committed to supporting the local business community and to nurturing young local business talent. He co-heads the Singapore chapter of the Young Venture Capital Society, is a lecturer, speaker and honorary judge for business venture competitions at the INSEAD Business School. As a basketball fan, he is also an shareholder to the Singapore Slingers professional basketball team. He also serves as a consultant to Google in Asia.
In recognition of his many accomplishments and commitment to the community, Singh was recently honored with the Canadian Centennial Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence and Community Service. His entrepreneurial escapades have been featured in an INSEAD Case Study, CNBC, New York Post, and BBC.
