    I have been a volunteer at the Cape Epic 2005 to 2007. The Cape Epic is an 8 day mountain bike stage race. My volunteer role was involved with everything from Bar Tending to Evening Production and Daily Awards Presentation.

    The last time I was involved with the Cape Epic I used my IT background and knowledge to create daily power point slides with results and sponsor info. This power point slide show was played out to approximately 1000 people every evening for the duration of the 8 day event. At the end of each evenings power point slide show a Google Earth fly through was done of the next day's route. After the day's pictures were played on a slideshow for everyone to see.

    The Cape-Epic is an incredible event that was a yearly highlight for 3 years running. Due to work commitments I am unable to return for 2008.
