Ashley M. Hunter graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a degree in Management and Marketing and Centenary College of Louisiana with a degree in Music Theory and Composition with a minor in Business.

After graduation from Centenary College of Louisiana, Ashley started her career in insurance with State Farm Insurance Companies working in a variety of departments. Notably Ashley was a Catastrophe Claims Supervisor, Catastrophe Call Center Supervisor, Large Claims Representative and Catastrophe Claims Representative.

After several years with State Farm Insurance Company, Ashley started her own business as a independent claims representative handing specialty claims in musical instruments and fine arts.

After years in the insurance industry Ashley decided to try her hand at sales and started working for a successful Allstate Insurance Agent before starting her own independent insurance agency. Currently Ashley is committed to handing the needs of commercial contractors and developers globally.

HM Risk Group was also selected as one of the Texas Department of Insurance Special Deputy Receivers. Which provides receivership assistance to the Texas Department of Insurance.

When Ashley isn't working with contractors and developers Ashley is involved in insurance education, Austin Women's Symphony League and the National Association of Women in Construction and anything music related since Ashley is an accomplished violinist.
